Purpose: The purpose of an initial consultation is to assess the Client’s situation and provide advice on Canadian immigration regulations, including analysis of options, estimated timeframes, legal fees, costs, and next steps based on Canadian immigration law and policy as of the consultation date. It does not include form completion, document preparation, or case follow-up, which require a separate agreement, and

Method of Consultation: Depending on the consultation time chosen by the Client, the RCIC provide the consultation to the Client by telephone call, video call (Google Meet | Zoom), or in person, based on the time booked, and

Client Responsibility: The Client must provide the RCIC with all required information and documentation for the consultation. The Client must be accurate and honest, and inform the RCIC of all relevant information, including any negative or adverse details. The Client must attend the consultation meeting punctually at the scheduled date and time, and

Fee and Refund Policy: The Client must pay the fee for the chosen consultation duration (30 or 60 minutes) before the consultation meeting. This fee is non-refundable, even in the case of a no-show. However, the Client may request to reschedule the appointment once with at least 48 hours’ advance notice. The RCIC may also reschedule the consultation due to workload or holidays, and

Consultation Fee Credit: If the Client chooses to engage the RCIC services after the paid consultation util 30 days, the consultation fee will be credited toward the professional service fee. This ensures that the initial investment is applied and not wasted, and

Retainer Agreement Required: The Client acknowledges that, following the initial consultation, no client-counsel relationship will be established. If the client decides to retain our services after the initial consultation and we agree to provide them, we will draft a detailed Retainer Agreement to be signed by both parties. This new agreement will replace the Initial Consultation Agreement and will outline the terms of our representation, including our fees and specific services, and

Confidentiality: All information and documents shared during the initial consultation will be kept strictly confidential, and
