دانشکده هنروفناوری های کاربردی جورجین در سال ۱۹۶۵ تاسیس شده و دانشکده های دیگر آن در سال ۱۹۶۷ به آن اضافه گشته و تکمیل شدند.
این کالج دارای ۱۱,۰۰۰ دانشجوی تمام وقت بومی و ۱۵۰۰ دانشجوی بین المللی از بیش از۶۰ کشور دنیا درهفت پردیس خود می باشد که بزرگترین آنها در بری(Barrie) واقع شده است.
